Two Wyze pages disagree on the monthly price
On October 21, 2026, Wyze's plans page listed Cam Plus at $2.99/month [S5], while its services comparison page listed $3.99/month [S4]. Wyze's January 2026 price notice says the monthly price "will remain $2.99/month" [S7]. Both pages agree on $29.99/year. We use the plans page price and mark the monthly figure Unverified. Unverified
Things to know before you buy
- It's a plug-in camera. There's no battery, and outdoor use needs Wyze's outdoor power adapter, sold separately [S1].
- 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only [S1].
- Card size vs. history: Wyze says up to 4 days of continuous video fits on a 32GB card [S2]. The camera takes cards up to 256GB [S1].
- Smoke and CO alarm sounds: the camera can alert you when it hears a smoke or CO alarm [S1][S3].

Can Wyze Cam v4 record without a subscription?
Yes, to a microSD card. Wyze says a microSD card lets the camera record continuously and locally [S2]. Without a plan, Wyze's cloud events show only a thumbnail [S3].
How much is Wyze Cam Plus?
$29.99 a year per camera on Wyze's plans page. It shows $2.99 a month if billed monthly [S5]. Wyze raised the annual price from $19.99 starting in March 2026 [S7].
